To celebrate our collective efforts and the success of the "A La Mode" initiative, we invite you to join us at Legends in Fitchburg on May 22nd from 5-8 pm. This event, our way of saying thank you for your support, promises to be an evening of camaraderie, celebration, and giving back.
As a token of our appreciation, admission to the event is free for all attendees. Legends will be hosting a cash bar, offering a selection of drinks to toast to our accomplishments and the impact we've made in our community.
More than just a celebration, this event is a testament to the power of community and the positive change we can create when we come together. "A La Mode: A Fashionable Tradition Continues with the Social Light Business Club"
In the world of fashion, "a la mode" signifies style and trendiness. But for us at the Social Light Business Club, it symbolizes much more—our commitment to giving back and supporting entrepreneurs in need.
Last year, we launched the "A La Mode" initiative, led by founder Samuel Nieves Jr., with a mission close to his heart. We collected suits and professional attire for entrepreneurs and individuals, ensuring those in need could access them. Thanks to our members and supporters, over 300 items were donated, making a significant impact.
This year, we're expanding our efforts. Drop-off stations at local businesses throughout our region make it easier to donate gently used and new men's professional attire. While we don't collect women's attire, we've listed organizations below that do.
Join us for the launch of this year's collection on April 21 at The Earth Day event at Riverfront Park in Fitchburg. You'll be able to drop off donations there, and donation boxes will be placed throughout our region from April 21 to May 22. Your contributions will make a meaningful impact on our community.

Cash donations are also a part of our mission. It enables us to deliver much-needed items directly to those in need, including dry cleaning services to ensure that donations are in pristine condition, as well as purchasing essential items like undergarments and other necessities. Your generosity not only helps us support individuals in need but also allows us to sustain and expand our efforts, ensuring that we can continue making a positive impact in our community.
The Social Light Business Club is a for-profit company that hosts this annual philanthropic event. We want to clarify that while our mission includes giving back to the community, we are not a nonprofit organization.
